UTOPAI

In the near future we inhabit a world called UTOPAI. The boss of this real-virtual-surreal domain is The Algorithm - a 21st century god created by us in our image and to be much more than us, as ever. Crafted in code, rather than from stone or bronze, The Algorithm has supplanted the pantheon of old gods. This upgraded AI uber-god has all the (magnified) attributes of its predecessors – it is mysterious, invisible and everywhere, all-powerful and all-knowing, beneficial and malevolent. Who knows, perhaps we really are on a path to utopia.
