Kind of Blue is an open-ended series of contemplative abstract compositions. These inner landscapes use organic fibre like cotton surgical gauze and cardboard in a tactile process of imperfect mark-making. Geometricity, chance and repetition recur in the evolving visual language, whose reductive alphabet is the uneven dot and line. Kind of Blue is the title of the singular Miles Davis jazz album recorded in 1959.
